I want to order a dvd boxset on sendit for €155 on Sendit and I want to know if it will be stopped by customs and charged import duty or since they ship from Belfast is it exempt?

if it is sent from Belfast then there shouldn't be any duty to worry about. Intra-EU shipments are exempt.

Yeah, thought that was the case alright. Wanted to double check, didn't want any nasty surprises in the post with Christmas round the corner!

While sendit are based out of Belfast, I don't know if they ship out of Belfast. You might want to check that out with a quick email to them. You could ask them in the email if vat is already paid, if say they ship from Jersey.
