Seems a good price for a branded Full HD set. Seems Ireland is the only country outside UK that they do deliver to, but as said, you need to phone or email them for delivery quotation.

What about the fact that UK Freeview is incompatible with the Irish one?

It's not. A UK set with a digital/freeview receiver picks up the three rock transmissions just dandy - so unless there's a technical change between the test transmissions and the final full-time service, you'll be grand.

well theres always a catch... just on to them there and they quoted me GBP£89.99 for delivery to the Republic... i'm i right in saying thats a rip off? i thought LCD's were much lighter than plasmas

It's still bulky and has to be handled with some degree of care.

Thats still only 1005 euro including delivery direct to your door and its still cheaper than the 37LF65 on Komplett which is 1210 euro including delivery...

Good find Basquille, just back from DID Electrical pricing some TVs for the laugh, crazy money! I think i'll go for this LG looks great :)
