New GameStop is looking good, its right across the road from there. I went in there once to buy something, and the guy behide the counter was playing Pro Evo 2008 on the Xbox 360 which was connected to the screen! What a class job!!! :D

From the few times Ive been in there they seemed very professional and its definitely a more serious/specialist game shop than the more populist Games,Gamestops and Xtravisions of this world.

I'd vouch for Apex Games any day. They've got a great selection, especially when it comes to PC games. Staff are courteous and knowledgeable, prices are good, and they'll order anything they don't have.

They even stock GW Warhammer stuff.

Definitely vouch for apex. Your man that works there is one of the friendliest I've encountered in a shop, gone in once or twice just to browse and ended up having a half hour chat :p
Sells more exotic games than gamestop, for instance, I've never come across any of the Shin Megaten games in gamestop, but they're quite common in Apex.

Apex Games a million miles ahead in customer service compared to any other games shop in Cavan. Had nothing but issues last year and the whole DS fiasco. Gamestop staff are very rude and clueless and Xtra Vision staff are a little better. Apex Games could do with a little face lift but do not let that put you off.

Also +1 on the GW stuff.
