European airlines may be forced to close websites

    About time, we were promised this type of legislation for a while now. This one particularly annoys me when using the Ryanair website:

    - Tick boxes for insurance or additional services are ticked 'yes' by default, trapping the consumer into buying unwanted items or being included on spam mailing lists

    Also if you deselect these items and have to press the 'back' button on your browser to correct a mistake or something they all get re-selected!

    Proper feckin order.. I wonder how many people have fallen into these traps..
    Probably a nice little earner for Ryanair.

    Yes, nothing I hate more than been able to fly across europe for the change in my pocket.... far better when london cost a weeks wages in cattle class...
