Ignore this....Wasn't reading the eBay hoo haa!!!:o

    Hi All

I placed a bid on this laptop yesterday..http://offer.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=250186863291

The bidder list shows a number of bidders with the id bidder 1, bidder 2 etc..

Are these legit or shoudl I be wary of whats going on....

The bidders seem to bid 1 time per auction...

How can eBay prevent people from bidding on the items they have listed?

    Mike

Those bidders are indeed legit, ebay has now hidden the ID of bidders in certain auctions for privacy reasons or something like that. I don't think you should be too worried.
You can have Bidder approved auctions only if you prefere for selling your items, although I think the item has to have a certain reserve amount placed on it first.
