***please ignore, i finally got this working with ndiswrapper :D:D****

    hi all

please bare with me here, i'm still at the "monkey see, monkey do" stage with linux....i finally know what my da feels like in front of a windows box

like half the net it seems, i'm trying to get a WUSB54GS v2.1 working with ubuntu 7.10 (downloaded yesterday)...i've seen the "how to's" from others on this using ndiswrapper and the windows drivers, but it ain't happenin for me..:(

I stumbled across this page during my searches and it seems to be exactly what i'm after??

I've downloaded the snapshot file and extracted it

    Moving onto the installation instructions...

    My questions are:
    1) Do i need to install the kernel source/headers package, as its a new current install??
    2) Can someone explain the clean.sh part to me please???

I think i'm ok with the rest...

    thanks
