some people said the death of Blofeld in For Your Eyes Only
    was stupid ..

for me this was the best introduction in any of the Bond films!!!!

    what do you think ??

I prefered him before he had a face (pre You Only Live Twice) when he was simply No.1, although his introduction in that film was brilliant. "allow me to introduce myself, I am Ernst Stavro Blofeld"

Its the cheesiness that makes it all so good ...

Blofeld: "Put me down , put me down " ..

007 (Roger Moore - Best Bond EVER) : "Oh, do you wanna get off?"

    (Drops him into chimney)

    Blofeld : "MR BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNDDD!!"

was kinda a waste in my view, should have made an entire movie to killing him off.
maybe he survivied and can make a comeback:p

Blofeld was a great enemy in the earlier James Bond films. Personally, I found it annoying that we did not see the guy initially. Donald Pleasence in "You Only Live Twice" was for me the best Blofled. By the '70s, the novelty had worn off so it was apt to kill him off. However, the killing off of wheel-chair-bound Blofeld at the start of "For Your Eyes Only" was just plain daft and had absolutely no bearing on the rest of the film - a big anti-climax in other words.

My religion teacher told us the greatest joke in first year.

"what do you get when you put the two greatest Bond Villans together"

    "Oddfeld"

We were to young to appreciate

    Exactly...BLASPHEME!!

    best bonds in order
    1.Sean Connery
    2.Timothy Dalton
    3.Pierce
    4.Daniel Craig
    5.Lazenby
    then maybe Roger Moore

We are going off-subject a bit (i.e. Blofeld), but I have to stick in my Bonds list!
1.Sean Connery ... way ahead of the rest
2.Roger Moore .... a good bit ahead of the remaining
    3.Pierce Brosnan
    4.Timothy Dalton
5.Daniel Craig (that's only after one film, and he's very close in the stakes to Timothy!)
6.George Lazenby - the only Bond I did not like

Incidentally, I started a thread some time ago about anything to do with James Bond..... enough of the plug!

Moore fighting reminds me of Austin Powers ... 'Judo ... Chop!', only Austin didn't raise his eyebrow every 4 minutes.

After watching the connery Bonds ...

    maybe ill reconsider

    1. Sean Connery
    1. Roger Moore ... (imagine this is 2 teams at the end of the league, same points, Goal difference, Goals scored, goals conseded, and 2 1-1 draws between them)
    3.Pierce
    4.Dalton
    5. Craig (although he could move up after i see the next)
    6. Lazenby .. ****..
