co2 will fire over 1 Joule, the co2 mag for the beretta fires 360fps and also requires a hammer spring upgrade amongst other things for it to work

oh, and the hi-capa is lovely, was looking at the full size version derek had at the rds the other day, not sure if i'd ever skirmish it, but it's a beautiful gun

There was a thread a while back about the WE Hi-Cappa mags being faulty. They were exploding or something crazy like that.

hope it dont explode anyway!.,lol its a baby hi capa so hopefully that problem is only in the bigger ones.,

I wanted to get a feel of the Hi capa on dereks stall the other day but it was really busy they and had to watch everyone like a hawk what with all the burburry types around, I got to see the marui python there that i was going to buy but was very dissapionted with the feel and weight in it.,

AFAIK it was the WE Hi-Cappa mags only. Is the baby Hi-Cappa based on the 1911 Officer or Commanders model?

im not sure, i probably should have read up on it a little more before buying it but its most likely just gonna be a show piece, I was gonna get a hi cap maf for it aswell so i might be able to find one made by a different brand?

    thanks.,

I think full size hi capa mags fit the baby, much like glock mags in the smaller models, but 3.8 baby mags wont fit in a larger frame.

I ordered one of the first model hi capas recently, so will let everyone know if the mags have changed.

Aparently TM mags fit them and dont blow up.

The WE ones were the same but lacked pins at the bottom of the mag, relying solely on a screw, which would blow.

TM have the pins so dont blow up.

If the hi capa I get has these pins, problem solved, if not, airsoft grenade!

i have the Baby Hi Cappa, its a grand gun but despite what ehobby say its not full metal, the mag housing/grip section & trigger guard is one piece molded plactic, so that was a bit of a let down, to say the least.

the other thing i wasnt overly enamoured about was the sound of the action, it just doesnt sound real when compared to a KWC Sig for instance.

the finish is more grey than black and does take away from the realism and will wear around the edges & corners of the slide, sights and slide & mag-release button, with minimal use.

But other than that its a nicy tidy gun. compact and reasonably trouble free for the price.
although there was one night where the mag just emptied its self thorugh the gun for no apparent reason other than i pulled the trigger.

is yours the same os the one i linked to in the first post? ill be very dissapointed with this if it turns out to be plastic and lightweight,
I like the idea of it not being black though, its a change from the usuall and im thinking of getting an OD glock aswell,.,
I got an email back from ehobby saying that i have to send them another 10usd for postage and then it'll be posted out to me so looking forward to seeing it in the metal.,

The real steel 2011 sti has a one piece synthetic handgrip and trigger guard, afaik.

I may be wrong, but I think thats what the hi capas are based on and it should be like that.

All that should be metal is metal.

EDIT: does your mag have three little pins near the bottom? It relates to the above explosive comments!

i was aware of the problem but havnt checked it yet, it was more so that all the gas escaped out the top and through the gun but it didnt fire or cycle the action.

i wouldnt say its light but when racking the slide, its just doesnt give that satisfying heavy metalic sound like some other guns.

i was a small bit disappointed at first as i had high expectations but now youre aware of these minor faults youll be fairly happy id say.
i wouldnt sell it although i did consider it at first.

with Ehobby youre nearly better off emailing them before hand as to what the p&p is, its usually in or around €10 more than the dollar amount.

Just got the 5.1 hi capa, it still has the old type "kaboom" mag, dunno if they are the same as the baby hi capa, but Tokyo Marui mags are compatible and do not blow up.

76€ delivered from ehobby, so, I could still buy a TM mag and would be good value.

you had no bother getting it through had you=?
a few people i know got stung customs/balistics but that was off rsov. itching to order more stuff but dont want the hassle of waiting indefinitley while those clowns take their time molesting the gear.

I had no trouble, got here in less than two weeks too.

Customs only charge you for stuff over 100€ i think.

Th gun itself had been inspected, in and out of customs the same day.

Customs is not charged on items deemed to be "of little or negligible value" or on gifts up to the value of €40. If an item is worth more than that then prepare to re-mortgage your house :D

it says it only ships to america

Not a bitteen, they add 10 dollars for european shipping.

I still got my government hi capa for less than 80€ inc delivery.

When you buy, click the request total shipping thing and they send a full invoice, which you pay, all through paypal.

So the price in total should be 10 dollars more than shipping to the us, but with the state of the dollar, me thinks its time to buy buy BUY!

Or buy in moderation, if you're sensible.

Still possible to get a customs charge though, but seems like great value doesnt it?
