Swing "fault" identified

In another thread, Notorious BIG posted a link to Leadbetter's Swing Setter.

I'm about to start into ironing out a fault in my swing, something which has been present for a while now. At the top of my backswing, the clubface is very closed, i.e. I'm not rolling my wrists during the backswing. 8 times out of 10 the face of the cub is square at impact so whatever is happening I've learnt to compensate over time.

I would imagine though that I am losing yards as a result of the clubface not being open at the top of the B/S and not getting the whip in the hands through impact?

I would imagine this teaching aid would assist me in identifying where my hands and the clubface are at all times.

Aside from this device, I'd be interested if anyone any tips/methods that I can use to assist with fixing this?

Grip the club normally with your left hand and place your right hand on your left wrist. Bring the club back with your right hand and hold the backswing position. I usually do that drill around 40-50 times a day.

Also buy the swingsetter!:D Ive been averaging 89 for the last month. Been using the swing setter for couple of weeks and today shot 83!

Before anyone asks i dont own shares in David Leadbetter PLC:rolleyes:
