Status of Fuji finepix s9600

All, I was wondering if anybody out there knows if the Finepix S9600 is nearing the end of its lifetime with Fuji and will be replaced soon, or will it be with us for another year or two. I only ask as I'm thinking about purchasing one but if a newer model was released I may wait. Regards, Kevin.

This camera was only released in August 06, I couldn't see them upgrading it just yet but this is the world of electronics changes daily.
