Ok, my friends laptop wont turn on anymore, Not a peep out of it.
Ive not had a real chance to take a look yet but just incase theres something im missing.
Ive tried plugging it in and trying to turn it on... nothing.
Taking the battery out and turning it on.... nothing.
When plugged in it doesnt indicate that its charging either.

Ill gonna try another power supply of the same power output later on but from what she told me its been having trouble turning on recently, and it was quite hot last time she used it. Possibly a fan gone bust and its over heated.

Also, as a last resort, are there any places in Galway that repair laptops, not big stores like PC world or Maplin, their prob going to be V expensive. Any independant places.

    Cheers guys

Try removing the RAM from the laptop and testing it one stick at a time.
    What make/model is it?

Ill find the make and model later on, Fujitsu Siemens something or other.
    Cheers for that though
