Hi,Anyone know the answer to this?

I have onboard graphics,256mb on a 7050 motherboard but am tempted to get a 6800 gt dx9 card.

What would happen if the dx9 card was installed as dx10 is on the computer?

    No graphics or backwards compatiable?

    regards,

    Kieran

    You'd have to use dx9.

DirectX is backwards compatible with older cards, so you won't have any problems there.
You just won't be able to see any of the fancy new DX10 effects in games
