    Are there any film clubs or societies in Dublin? You know, that do screenings and stuff? Sick of seeing films with philestines! :D Wouldn't mind if there was a group of people as interested in seeing a wide range of movies and what have you.

    Maybe you should start one up. Put a few posters up in the likes of Laser, Tower and a couple of video shops.

    I joined the film society in my college and the first time it was on only 3 or 4 people went to it. Never went again.

    Thats a damned good idea. I'm aware of the various college clubs/socities floating around but outside that, there dosen't seem to be much or any independant film clubs.

    If there can be photography clubs, why not film? :rolleyes:

    Actually, what do you guys think about a boards.ie film club? It was something I was mulling over to ask for a forum request, basically just somewhere boards peeps could post threads about organising seeing films together in their area, along the lines of "Who in Galway wants to see 30 Days Of Night?" Then organise a date and time.

    Maybe boards film club wouldn't be the best title for it. Film events?
