Comedy through anger

Any writing I do usually revolves around the "comedy through anger" sort of cliché. What Im wanting is some honest opinion on an article I've recently wrote.

    http://digg.com/software/Why_you_can_take_your_iLife_and_shove_it_up_your_iAss

Now, this has come under a lot of attacks from mac users - so if you use a mac, you'd probably be best to steer clear. One thing that did stick with me though, was the comment I recieved from one person - that it would have been funnier if not for the vulgar language.

    Can anyone give some opinions?

I love Macs btw but that's not important when discussing what you've written.

Yours is "weekend columnist" journalistic style of writing that we see in the magazines that come with newspapers on a Saturday/Sunday. It's a good, entertaining, refreshing read.

Plenty of opinion backed up with facts to make an altogether interesting article. I loved it but yes, without a doubt, you need to lose the vulgarity or at least tone it down.

You've argued a very good case and your 'outrage' is apparent but have a look at newspaper columnists to see how they get that sense of outrage across without resorting to potty-mouth language (as the Americans might say :)).
