Bought this scope and have it on a agm M14. When I look through it I dont get a very good view, have to try get my eye as near as possible to the sight to get a good view which means the aeg is not being shouldered properly. Did I buy too short of a scope or what am I doing wrong . Thanks for any help.

If you're having to move your eye that close the scope may be too far foreward. Try moving it back a bit.

Have it as far back as it will go.

Have the same scope from the same source and plan to use it on my M14. Great minds think alike ;) Similar problem for me, the eye relief on the scope is not great so you have to get up real close which makes shouldering the AEG unwieldy. I have an M4 SPR on the way so I hope its a bit more suited to it. Shame cos its a nice scope.

Hoplite I reckon that the scope is just too small for the M14 did you try it on your G-spec? Spr on the way! Was looking at them but have decided that I need something lighter between the dboys m4 and the M14 I will be wreaked after a days skirmish. Seriously thinging about one of the new sportsline M15 from CA had a real good look at one at T4BB much lighter but I think it will need a sturdy stock and smaller barrell as it comes with a 6.08mm. Decision time ! because I really like the G-spec

I'll try it on the gspec this evening and let you know if its more suited to it.

Cant you adjust it? If not, then there are mounts available which angle back...Like the one below, dunno where to get them though, try wgc. That would give you another little bit.

Those mounts are for aimpoints (30mm) and angle foreward, thed just look ugly the other way round.

Off topic but did you get free delivery with that?

Actually I'm going to remove that link. Ebaybanned went on a pm spam rampage here a while ago and got banned from boards.ie. They don't deserve the advertising if you ask me.

Edit: uploaded a pic of the scope :)

No getting around the fact that the eye relief is poor on this scope. I would classify it as useable on the VSR10-G-SPEC if not exactly comfortable. On the plus side 2x magnification is good for eirsoft range. The focus/parallax (i.e. things looking blurry at short range) is easy to adjust and compensate for. Proper click windage adjustments and red/green illumination. Looks nice too. I'd say it was worth the few bob but not ideal.

I have a 3-9x40 scope non illuminated (from MIA) as well, because its longer its much easier to adjust for eye relief but it does not have any of the other features of this scope.
