    Hi Folks

Got this laptop in Sony in Swords on friday.

Price dropped to 1,399.00 euro. Down from over €2k.

Brilliant machine, and amazing price for a Sony Vaio.!!

finger print recognition and weight are nice and it looks good but thats abt it imo.

For that price you can get alot more than:

    single core processor
    1 gig ram
    100 gig hd
    1024 x 768 monitor
    on board gfx acceleration

In summary I think this is style over function.

You wouldn't get get much better than integrated graphics on a 12" laptop. Also the led backlight pushes the price up quite a bit. They also might be using a 1.8" hard drive rather than a 2.5". This would explain why it is only a 100GBs and this would save on both weight and size. It would also add to the price.

not at that size, weight, led screen and battery life you can't.

it's an ultraportable and you give up a lot for that, but thats the whole
point, it is functional style and a nice buy op.
