    Dear Collector,

it is important that we, as militaria collectors, have the opportunity to buy, sell, swap items of interest. You can present your items for such purpose in this thread subject to these conditions:
You will have to advertise your item(s) in adverts.ie (see here:
    http://www.adverts.ie/).
You may then post the adverts.ie link here in this thread
    * together with pictures of the item. *Submit your link and pictures to Hagar or myself and we will put up your post in this thread.
You must clearly and honestly state if the item is a bona fide original, a museum reproduction/fake or, in case you are not sure, say so in the description.
Please inform us immediately about a successful sale/swap etc. so that your old post in this thread can be removed.
Wanted posts should also appear on
http://www.adverts.ie/ with a link here in this section.

    Happy collecting,

    Your Militaria Forum Team

    Hello All,

I'm reluctantly letting this one go. It's a 100% genuine World War 2 German Iron Cross first class in an original case of issue.

Untouched and uncleaned, with a great patina, it is marked L/56 on the pin and made by the company of Funcke & Bruninghaus - one of the harder to find makers.
Correct three piece construction with a ferrous (iron) core.

There are some spots of paint missing from the core but no rust. All hardware is in perfect working order.

The original domed case is in very good condition with some minor scuffing.

This medal is being offered for sale for historical collectable purposes only and without any sympathy, expressed or implied, for any military or political group past or present.
    Asking price: €265

    Hi all,

I need to fund some new awards and because that this medal have to go from my collection.

This Victory Medal belonged to the Private William Duncan OFFICER. He served first with the Royal Scottish Fusiliers (service number 49358) and then was transferred into Seaforth Highlanders (service number 30451). Medal is named "49358 PTE. W.D.OFFICER R.SCOTS"

Based on Medal Index Card, he was entitled only Victory Medal and British War medal.

1901 and 1911 Engish Census shows; William was born in Scotland around 1868. Married with Charlotte A Officer. They lived in London, 22 Grafton Terrace, Kentish Town N W, where he worked as a lodger and warehouseman. He died 1944, Suffolk.

I am asking €25 (including PayPal fees and shipping) for that very unusually named Victory Medal. I did just 10 minute check on ancestry, so it is basically not researched medal and can turn out as an interesting research project.
I will provide copy of his MIC to the buyer as well.

I would like to sell nice Royal Munster Fusiliers 4th Battalion official invitation with the stamped regimental crest.

I am asking €15, including shipping and PayPal fees

Please note: It is original period made (pre 1922) invitation.
