I am getting a Macbook in the next few weeks, but I've got a Zen.

My question, can I use my Zen with the mac in anyway?

Maybe use MediaMonkey or something to sync music to the Zen?

You could try XNJB, seems to do what you're looking for. No idea how well it works because I use an iPod with iTunes, but it seems to have gotten good ratings on MacUpdate (which incidentally is an excellent resource for Mac software, for future reference; it's saved me a LOT of time ;))

Alternatively, a MacBook equipped with VMWare Fusion or Parallels and a valid copy of Windows can run any Windows software (except 3D intensive games).

There is no compatibility for MediaMonkey for Macs unfortunately.
