    Guys,

Has anybody here purchased the new ping g10 irons. I've been threatening to purchase a new set of irons all year, i think coming up to xmas is a good time. Has anybody here tried them and would they recommend.

Also do any of the golf stores here in dublin have facilities to try the clubs out before purchasing, i'd like to try before i buy, plus get custom fit, the works.

    Cheers Lads

With Golfing presents making such easy Christmas presents and stocking fillers I can't imagine that this would be the case. I just bought a bag and I wasn't being offered any money off the RRP in the first shop I went into (a well know golf chain store) so I didn't buy it there.

If you weren't going to use them much between now and Christmas I'd be inclined to wait until Jan.

the 2nd hand bins are usually good after xmass too as people trade in their old clubs having got new ones for xmas.

Yea, the clubs are very pricey, checked one retailer today, although i can't imagine they'll drop their prices after the new year all that much on the latest range. Maybe last years range, but not the current ones. I see the ping g5 irons have dropped, but not by a staggering amount.
