Got a APS film scanned earlier as I'm looking to get digital copies of all the ol;d films I have, plus over the years people have taken alot of the developed photos I had of them.

Just looking for people's views on the quality.

Colour, exposure and contrast are OK but it isn't possible to ascertain other aspects of quality from such small sizes.

They seem very dark on the left and right, but not radially out from the centre like a lens vignette, more like uneven strip lighting. If the negatives are evenly exposed then there is something wrong with these scans.

A flatbed film / slide scanner will do 4800 dpi for 120 euro upward, and everyone needs a decent scanner anyway. A dedicated film scanner (from 500 euro) is essential if you are doing a lot as they are quicker, easier to load and better quality (e.g. infrared dust removal).

what make is the scanner? yeah they seem to be dark at the edges like as if the light source isn't catching it or something.
