Motorcycle helmet cleaning

    I have a Shoei XR1000 lid and decided to clean the inside of it today. I used warm water in a basin with johnsons baby shampoo and a toothbrush to clean it up and it worked a treat.

    The problem I have is there are 2 removable sections (one at each cheek) which I removed to give them a good clean. Each one has 3 pop fasteners for fixing it back into the lid, unfortunately there has been some shrinkage along the process and only 2 of the fasteners will close and the third one is required. This may have happened when drying them out.

    Has anyone had this problem before and know how to loosen these removable sections to get all the fasteners closed?

    Ok scratch that...just figured it out. I was re-fitting them incorrectly :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Was never very good at jigsaws anyway...even the the 2 piece jumbo ones :o

    tried to fit them upside down and on the wrong side, think we've all done it :D
