Where would an 0906 number be from? The north, perhaps? A such number just rang here, hung up just as I picked up the phone

0906 is the general Athlone.

If ur trying to track it down more
try looking at the anpost site, check for post offices in Westmeath, Offaly and Roscommon, and you'll find one on the same exchange as the number tha rang you.
