Vista Photo Gallery - pics come out yellow

Kinda odd problem but probably has a simple fix.

When I open a jpeg in Vista, just by double clicking on it, the Windows Photo viewer opens. It has a yellow background around the picture (dunno if this is meant to be white or yellow), but the picture itself gets a yellow tint as well.

I saved the boards logo and opened it to show what I mean.

Any idea what this is? It's happened since I installed Vista.

Thanks! Some playing around in Control Panel -> Color Management fixed it. (specifically removing the Samsung Colour Profile installed by my monitor and using the Windows sRGB one instead)

I've found windows vista picture viewer, destry several of my images now  As the picture viewer in vista is capable of editing and saving images, i've found opening images and closing them frequently while maybe looking for images, it attempts to save the image when its closes but fails there for leaving a massive artifact through the image. I've noticed this on several PC's :(

This will work with a number of sites but for flickr its a must!

It'll allow you to run a slideshow of whatever images your looking at at full res and it'll also stick them on a lovely black background by default :)

Give it a try for anyone who hasn't

if the pics come out yellow in all viewers them check your setup

monitor - reset to factory and check colour temperature isnt' set too low which makes white look yellow
video card - look up the gama correction
monitor - there may be an ICP file or something for the proflile (CAB looking it up since I don't that worked up over it)
