    Hi,

Want to upgrade the ram on my laptop, it's 1gb at the moment (2x512 i think)

I read on a site today that the max ram for this is 2gb but can i not but 2x2gb sticks into the machine if they are the 200 pin ddr 2 types ?

    Thanks for any advice

If the manufacture says it will only support 2 gb of ram (2 X 1gb ) it is unlikely to recognisc 2 gb modules.
