Seems good. No need for a computer.

My dad in Cyprus joined up a couple of days ago and phoned me yesterday. Line was very clear. I told him that I would let him try it out for a month before signing up myself. ;)
Will let you know how it goes.

    Update.

Dad has not reported any problems so I have signed up. Made a phone call to Cyprus and Italy and I must say it's pretty good, no computer required except to register.
I use the local access number in Waterford and as both Cyprus and Italy numbers are registered the only charge is the local access number.
I will be able to confirm this when I get my next phone bill.

    Anyone else tried it yet?

Gets a big thumbs up from me and I've tried other options with varying success but this tops them.

    Good customer support.

Had a problem. Could phone Australia and get through but went to answer machine, but the people I was phoning picked up and said they couldn't hear anything.

Left a message on the forum. Got a reply today..

    "Hi KBL,
We are sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. We will have a technician look into this for you. We will contact you when the issue has been resolved. We have credited your account 95 cents for the calls made to Australia. Thanks!"

    Fair enough. :)
