i've ordered seinfeld series 9, twin peaks gold edition and a few other box sets, prices are pretty good anyway but the discount makes them extra sweet. i've never been hit by customs on delivery either. sale lasts for another couple of weeks.

Could someone post the codes, as that forum is firewalled for me here today - although I can get to the site itself OK!

well dvdtalk is one, i'm looking for the list, think you can use a different one for each order. also can't be used for pre-orders or books or cds. but keep an eye out for dvds released before the sale ends (nov 25) - add them to your wish list which should make ordering easier.

Thats not bad as i noticed earlier series are about E40-50 in shops, i must try it out myself, thanks. 20% of 30$ not bad considering the dollar is weak!

Isnt it not free shipping or is that just on dvd's?

Here is their policy on International shipping. Not 100% sure about this - I could either be hit with a big customs bill for one big order, or break it up into smaller orders and have higher shipping costs.

Has anyone used them before, does this actually arrive via an post or by UPS like they say below?
    International Shipments

We ship via "Destination Post Office," which means that our carrier picks up from our warehouse and distributes packages throughout the world to the Post Office in your country for delivery to you. Please be aware that due to shipping restrictions or lack of delivery services to certain countries, United Parcel Service Worldwide Express, www.ups.com, may be used and applicable fees or charges may apply.

Any customs, taxes, import duties, or any other applicable charges are your responsibility and are collected once the package reaches your country. We have no jurisdiction over these expenses and cannot determine what they may be. Customs polices vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information.

A street address is required for all international shipments. Delivery to P.O. Boxes is not available.

Please refer to the table below:
    Order Total 10 - 20 Business Days
    $0 - $25 $5.95
    $25.01 - $50.00 $8.95
    $50.01 - $100.00 $12.95
    $100.01 - $249 $16.95
    Over $249 $39.95

Got me some sweet deals (Had to save some money for christmas, otherwise I would have broke the bank):

    Heroes - Season 1
West Wing: The Complete Series Collection
Twin Peaks - The Complete Second Season
The Prince of Tennis - Box Set: Volume 3

all for 183 EUR including shipping (The west Wing is only 100 EUR, half the price of play.com!)

Thanks for the reply, quick delivery sounds good, but did you order all 4 items for the one dispatch or it sounds like theyre keepin it below the amount required?

The reason i was askin about customs as i read something in one of the Sun papers about parcels & cost not goin over E45.

    Thanks.

The limit is €23 unless it's changed in the last couple of months.....but I don't know what way they are stopping stuff, people have posted that they've had packages stopped, I've been lucky so far, but tend to buy from people that send items individually.........think my poker set arrived this morning in the folks house, said it weighed a tonne and was a big box.......

would ya say the family guy boxset with all 5 series and the other bits in the presentation box would be a sure hit to get stopped with customs??

I remember a thread a while back about Play.com & the cost shouldnt exceed over E45, but maybe that's just related to Play.com.

The article i saw mentioned on how packages were sent to relations who were homesick containing Tayto packets & other sorts of confectionery, but now realise this is a multi-cultural place where there's a lot more different packages sent here & there.

Some contained food packages & some past its sell by date as the tracker dog would smell it & others contained machetes, cross-bows in small diy pieces!, dvds of army training etc.

But mostly they'd know on the stampdate of the place it was sent from to get their curiosity goin, like South Africa, Amsterdam, China etc.

I think the article was there to remind people on what would happen since it is comin up to Christmas & what might happen or you could get lucky?

So that's as much as i can remember as it was in one of the broadsheet papers.

i've never had anything hit by customs/taxes - and i've ordered quite a few items over the limits for a variety of sellers in the states. hope i'm not putting the mockers on myself now.
with this order i didn't order the items to be shipped separately and was expecting one package once all items came into stock, however i'm delighted that they shipped them separately as it does reduce the chances of being stopped. my package had $60 written on the front of it as well.
i would think the sooner you order the better as the closer to christmas it is the higher the chances of items being stopped.

Thanks again for putting up this thread, I got some really amazing bargains on it. They have another promotion going at the moment - amongst a load of other things, I got "Knocked Up" for $12.95 and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" for $3.95 - plus 20% off. Fantastic!

Well 1m to go before the sale ends, thanks dereko1969 for this.

Did anyone use or get the $10 one of time offer at the end & use it?

Btw: the codes didnt work on books, but at least they were half price v Amazon :D
