Gold Valuation for Selling on eBay

Hi, I've been selling on eBay on and off for the last few years. I recently started selling jewellery as well as I inherited some jewellery a while back which I'm trying to sell now.
So far, I've been selling silver jewellery and some odd bits of gold, but today I wanted to put a 14 carat/585 gold necklace up for sale and couldn't find out the approximate value for it.
Searched eBay UK and some other European eBay sites, but I'm still totally unsure. Couldn't find anything useful on the internet either with regard to a rough valuation of my item.
The necklace in question is hallmarked, 858 gold/14 carat and weighs around 20 grams on my kitchen scales.
Can anybody please help? I've attached a picture of the necklace.

Your best bet is to bring it to a jewellers to have it valued then work your prices off that.

Better to spend a little bit to be sure you are getting the right price for your item than to sell it only to find out after that it was worth a lot more!

Tnx for your advice, Vikings. Any idea how much a jeweller would charge for a valuation?

That will depend where you go, a quick google shows some places in Dublin charging a flat €50 and then there are reports of people getting it done cheaper too.

Best off ringing a local jeweller and ask them, an independent will probably be the cheapest. Plus if they give you a copy of the valuation then you can include that with the sale and might up the price a bit for you.

Why exactly would you go to such a jeweller?
