RAM Upgrade

I upgraded my RAM from 512MB DDR SRAM PC2100 to 2GB (2*1GB cards) DDR SRAM PC3200. Motherboard specs allowed a max of 2GB RAM 1GB in each slot which I followed. Also I read that PC3200 was backwardly compatable with PC2100 But with the new RAM installed the monitor does not get a signal. Tried with just one slot populated…
