im chipleader (about 7000)im dealt KH JH,player(he has about 2500chips) raises me i call, flop comes out i hit flush draw, nothing really else on the board,i raise he goes all in (another 1500 chips) at this stage im not gonna fold i call hit the flush,he shows AQ,starts moaning to me that it was a terrible call by me blah,blah,blah..
i was hardly gonna fold when he pushed all in,i know it was a gamble but i was chip leader and felt had already invested enough in the pot to feel i should call him, anyway i feel i was defo right,agree/disagree?

Pretty hard to answer without knowing the size of the raise, how much the pot was on the flop, what the blinds are, what position you and he were in, what kind of player the other guy was etc.

Although I guess reading between the lines that he raised to 1000 and you called, making the pot more than 2000. You then are getting the correct odds to call another 1500 to try and hit the flush regardless of whether you think your 2 overcards are live or not.

Whether you made a bad call preflop is more debatable and depends on some of the stuff that you didn't mention about the hand.

from recollection the blinds were i think 75-150,i was in a good state chipleader knocked sum1 out with a set took a big pot with a straight, and was taking an agressive approach. there were 5 players left on the table, but this pot was between the 2 of us the whole way...

Don't be getting your money in in bad spots just because you're the chip leader. Pre-flop looks marginal at best, flop looks okay.

Can you remember the raise sizes preflop.
If his stack size is accurate, then you had put in 1k by the time he went all-in,
So assuming he raised to 500 preflop,
Sounds like you were in a blind, 350 into 725
You bet 500 on the flop, he goes all-in, your getting the odds to call for a flush.

Doesn't look too bad preflop, flop is ok
