I can't seem to get Outrun 2006 PS2 version working on my new 60gb PS3, whats the deal, isn't it supported?

According to the Compatibility list it is, maybe with some issues mentioned

But thats only applicable to the US PS3, which comes with a built in PS2 processor, not the 60gb machine I've got, besides, the thing is still telling me the Outrun 2006 isn't supported yet, and somehow though my copy of SCAR, a car rpg about Alfa Romeos that about 10 people bought outside of Italy is supported, is there no justice, no justice at all?
