Where to put 20k

I have 20k hanging around doing nothing and would like to put it somewhere it will earn for me for one year. I dont mind risking no interest at the end of the year but am not willing to risk my capital. Where is the best place to put it. I know nothing about investments so all help welcome.

Sounds like a high interest deposit account. Rabo has a good deal for 10k of that money.
