    Hi Lads,

Am moving house soon and intend on bringing my SkyHD box along with me to the new house. Porblem is that the dish that I currently use is the landlords dish and I can't be taking that with me.

So I need to buy a dish and get it installed but I have no idea of the cost involved. Any ideas?

Sky have a special relocation offer where they install a new dish, LNB and cable. I think about 70 Eur.

Or you can buy a dish + LNB in Maplin or www.satellite.ie and DIY install (needs some patience if 1st time). Probably cost more.

Add another €50 to €150 to get some professional to supply & install a dish.

Since you have a Sky account, that's the best option. The other two options are needed for those with only Free To Air channels or a Pay TV package from another country (Poland, France, Germany, Albania etc).

Thanks lads. Do they still offer this service when you are still in contract?

They only offer it to those on contract/subscription.
