The Shield - Is it ever coming back to Irish TV?

    Just wondering if anybody knows if The Shield is going to come back anytime soon? I've emailed TV3 but got no response and can't find anything on the net about a return date. Have they dropped it altogether or is some other network going to pick up the rights? Its typical... the one programme I wait for 1 whole year to come back and there's not a sign of it!! :D Cheers lads.

    Did TV3 not show season 6, then?

    Season 7 won't be back on FX in America 'til next Summer at the earliest, I'd say. If the WGA strike continues, it'll be an even longer wait.

    I'm pretty sure TV3 have only showed Season 5 so far, which they repeated again recently. Fingers crossed Season 6 will arrive back on our screens at some point! Though with the butcher job TV3 did on the Season 5 finale, I'd almost rather it was a different station that brought it back :mad:
