Is that the tuner/decoder (MPEG2 only) for TNTSAT on 19.2 brought out to compete against the Sagem (MPEG4)?

TNTSAT provides the 18 + O + all F3 regions.................all free channels to French digital viewers who cannot get satisfactory pictures via normal means (conventional aerial)

If so the card is only available in France...

    mmalaka:
Your pay TV supplier can tell you which CAM you need.

If you don't have a payTV provider you can't legally use Viaccess in EU or discuss its use on any EU internet sites. Including here.

If it is a slot credit card sized it is a built in CAM. If it is a slot laptop card sized it needs a CAM in it to read card.

Perhaps the slot has nothing behind it. Strong SRT 4620 II is listed as a Free To Air ONLY receiver

It seems the OP has used this actual receiver WITH a card in Saudi Arabia. Though Strong's website says it is a FTA box. :(

I haven't clearly understood which satellite he used there. Is it likely to have been other than Viaccess2?

He hopes to get an official Arabesque / ART card and use Hotbird (which is Viaccess2 for Arabesque ).

Should he just get the card and hope for best and replace Sat receiver if it doesn't work?

The Dealer claims "European" ART cards are different from cards elsewhere, but I had thought the cards used here were mostly North African (Morroco?) Origin?

Anyone any sensible & legal thoughts?
