Hi..excuse my inexperience but this is the first time Ive used a forum. Im looking for some information/help in relation to supervising in secondary schools. At the moment Im doing my Masters in a business related subject but I have this strong feeling of regret, Im thinking I should have gone on and done my Hdip(now i know the name for this has changed but I dont know what it is).

I have some college friends who are teaching/supervising in schools while looking for jobs. I'd love to take a year out and work in a secondary school to make sure that its the right thing I want to do before I apply for the Hdip. Is there much supervising work in Dublin? Or if as a student with a honours degree and masters can I teach without the Hdip? Ive checked the education website and with my degrees I can teach business studies, economics, accounting and German.

    Thanks for your help:)
