    Hi there,

I'm looking for the cheapest website to get Nintendo DS Lite Games. Preferably one that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for P&P!

Got a DS for the nephew and one for the mother too and I now have get some games for them (Brain games for mother - Mario stuff for nephew).

    Any suggestions boys and girls?

    Thank you in advance! :)

The most obvious one is ebay but generally importing games from Japan or America is cheaper. There are loads of the obvious site that I would try, playasia.com for example but it's just a matter of shopping around.

I'd suggest getting an R4 or an M3 card for the DS - lets you save homebrew games, videos and downloaded backups of games you own. It's illegal to download games you dont actually own, but I've never heard of anyone being caught doing it.

There is a thread in bargain alerts about the cheapest place to get an R4 - works out around €40-50 for the card, 1 or 2gb microSD card, and adapters/install cds.

Thank you for your reply im...LOST!

    I will give playasia.com a go!

I tried eBay but paying as much as the game for P&P (from the UK!) was annoying me...

    Thanks again! ;)

Believe or not TPD ("TPD" is very funny in French! :D) I have actually seen that thread about the R4 on Bargain Alerts! And I clicked on the link and I kind of got the idea as to what it was used for...

Is it easy to back-up games using this tool? I was actually thinking of getting myself a DS Lite but I'd hate to have to buy a second Brain game for myself after buying it for my mum! :/

You can't actually back up your own games with the R4. To backup games you need a DS cart reader and I don't think that you can get them online even. It's just used to play games that you've downloaded.

    Lol, whats TPD in French?

For the price of a single game, you can have as many games as you desire, if you're so inclined. For putting games onto the card, its as simple as dragging the downloaded game onto the card through windows explorer.

    Off-topic reply. Apologies.

TPD, I'll explain.. It is a tad childish, you have been warned!

TPD, phonetically, tripping those letters off the tongue, a french person would pronounce:

    Té Pé Dé

Té - That is the 'you are', roughly. Again, phonetically.

Pé Dé - Slang for a homosexual, a 'fag' would be the closest translation.

So, you get: You're a fag.

Hilarious. (to someone in France, maybe)
