Now I know this one has been raised before, but I'd like to see peoples opinions. Headsup in a STT for a Waterford seat on GJP. One of the players is having connection problems and has disconnected 3 or 4 times then coming back 2 or 3 minutes later.

Do you fold your BB and let him come back or do you raise every hand?

id like to think fold, but id raisy daisy the life out of it

same as in the IPO people wernt there after the mistake with the break, id be very suprised if anyone says that they purposly played the clock down to allow their opponents to return.

(i admire andy B, for his attempt to slow down the play in the WSOP when he did, as i dont think i would)

I would always wait no matter what if it was the first or second disconnect.

After that, you should not be punished for his disconnections... and because the average stack is getting smaller and smaller you are losing your edge over him and that is not fair on you. If it happened a few times I would warn him that because of the increasing blinds I could not wait forever.

I'd wait the first couple of times, but after that I'd raise away, if i felt guilty I'd write the web-address of a good bb provider in the chat or something.

In these situations I always think. Hmmm "what would Gordon do?"

i've folded the blinds to the other players before,
he came back online and opened with a smart remark about "being busy"
I told him to look at his stack and said I didn't do a thing.
He was amazed I did it,

I flat call, assess the flop and raise all in if I hit it.

Easy, I'd bluff the river...... with a triple 5 bet check min-reraise that is more cunning that a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning.

    And he'd fold.

I would then abuse him in the chat box about his mama being soo fat.

Just leave it off and play as normal if he still has problems raise away. Im sure he would do the same.
