Dublin? DId you use a remote shutter release? They look ever so slightly OOF, but the potential is there.

Is there any chance you can resize those down to 800 pix on the longest side?

Focus issue: used autofocus and used self timer so there would be no vibration. Perhaps the long exposure (25sec!) was the probelm. Was tryin to see if I could achieve a good depth of field with narrow aperture with long exposure as I just got a tripod which i had to test of course.

    Thanks for the comments!

not bad for a first time, the second one is nice., as for the settings, if you adjust the white balance a little then it would look better, duno what the canon setting are but on my nikon i would go for something like 2500K and it takes out that yellow-ness that street lighting can give the picture,
also i would have got closer to the railing so as to get more water in the shot for reflection.,;)
    well done,

Don't forget that cars/trucks on a bridge will cause vibration as they pass.

I also wouldn't have waited until night to get night shots (if you know what I mean). Next time try when there's still some blue left in the sky, that way there'll still be a bit of sky interest as well.

It's a first go, so if you're unhappy yourself then keep shooting and keep working on technique.
