now I realise there are many threads floating around the BGRH about good places to eat, but this is the ultimate. The Chuck Wagon is situated on the N1 and any other BGRHrs who have tried it will tell you that it really is the shít. my favourite is the bacon, sausage & burger soda which does exactly what it says on the tin, throw some brown sauce over on there and lash on the onnins and you are away. I raise my cap to the fine wimmin who cook such great breakfast meats and go that extra mile to give us that food which just hits the spot. you will never look at a breakfast roll the same way again

There's an absolute cracker of a chuck wagon just outside Cookstown in Tyrone. Great for the old breakfast. Nothing like a runny egg to really make a good breakfast roll / bap / soda / sambo.
Also one on the main rd near Newry but i havn't been to it in ages. I think it's still there. Haven't been to the one on the N1 for years. Is it up round the airport / swords area??? I think that's where there used to be one.

I'll second that. It's years since I've eaten there as I don't be out that way much anymore. I'd assumed it might have closed since the M1 opened.

Had to read yore post about 5 times before working out that you weren't talking about some bizzare fizzy drink.

I was the same when I arrived at the Chuck wagon for the first time. one list on the menu is headed with "Soda" so I foolishly thought you got a free soft drink with it and said to myself "that's a great deal"

There used to be a great place called Nat's in the Markets in Belfast.
He did a "Non-sectarian Murder Burger".
