Outside of Wikipedia, does anyone know where I could find some good information on the biochemistry of this, along with other information about it? I've searched PubMed but it's not bringing up anything very specific. There's SFA in my textbooks about it. Cheers!

It's involved in fatty acid metabolism, there's a bit about it in Biochemistry by Berg, Tymoczko and Stryer. It might be listed as AMP-dependent protein kinase (I think they're the same thing under different names but I could be wrong).
