Was asking myself the exact same question about Olympus :D

Well as we all know Canon is the only true professional system with it's unbeatable track record for flawless optics and technological competency.

If your shooting Nikon pro kit why not ask ISS for a Nikon day?

Hmm - the D40 is considered pro kit right? ;) I think the most "pro" piece of kit I have is the SB600. My wireless remote isn't even Nikon OEM - instead I bought a cheaper universal remote and programmed it for Sanyo TVs (which funnily Nikon cameras think they are).

Would it be below the belt to suggest the reason they are having this complimentary inspection is for the 1D MkIII owners to return their cameras for the free fix to the AF problem? :(

Unfortunately the Canon pro Dslr range starts at the 5D and goes from there up to the 1 series. They don't consider anything else 'Pr0'.

    Not at all.

Just left in my 20D, 5 lenses and flash. Will clean and calibrate everything, update the firmware and all for free. And I'm not a pro either.

Thanks a lot for the heads up.

    T.

5D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 1D are all considered pro bodies (as specified by CPS).

I might just make some time and get my stuff checked over.

Cool, looks like they're looking after non pro gear too :)

    Hi Paul,
have you got a link for that, the last time I went about registering you had to have 2 x pro bodies and I can't remember how many lenses. The only non 1 series body they accepted at the time as pro was a 5D. That was about a year ago though.
    Fingers crossed!

You need 2 pro bodies, and 3 L lenses.

    I have registered (I've a 40D and 20D bodies).

Thanks once more PaulW, it took me a while to get all the bits and bobs in, but hopefully it'll work out.
