:eek:from a freeroll tourney at poker heaven involving 18 euro countries.

p****d me off so have written to support with my protest.

    pokerheaven@pokerresponse.com

urge all irish freeroll players to do likewise and maybe they will relent.

These tournaments will be country specific and will see each winner progress to a monthly grand final where 72 players (4 from each nation) will battle it out for a prize pool of €1000.
However, the grand final will not just be about playing for personal glory as the 72 players will also be representing their country in that whoever wins the tournament, will also win a €500 country specific freeroll for them and their compatriots to play in the following month!

not huge money but worth a protest.:)

Aye. Kinda silly of them to p1ss off a section of their clientele when it wouldn't cost them much. I know we're just a small country but we have a high % of online poker players. Would be kinda surprised if Ireland wasn't in the top 18 volume of poker players online so it even makes less sense that they should do this.

Jeez i really need to start playing and trying to make some money intead of arsing around on boards :p

Why would you want to stay with a company who you have to harrass to treat you with any respect.... mail them to say you are taking you're money to a site that recognises your nationality and then leave.

    Hi emmemmm.

I spoke to Pokerheaven about this.

Ireland doesn't actually come in the top 18 in Europe terms of the number of the players who play on Pokerheaven (yet). Other European countries were also left out.

This event is just a test run for this month to see what response it gets and they will look to include Ireland in December.

    regards

    Nicky.
