    Hear hear!

I've got a Pro account (thank you, roryw, you won't be forgotten, just contact me soon about payment, please), so I am going to share my latest work. I would like to finish project this year about people in service of Rally team.

    You can see pictures here:

Please, feel free to any comments. I am looking mainly for negative comments!
I'll try to add another photos, but it could take some time. I would like to finish book at Christmas.

looking at your flickr briefly, you have certainly been making use of your new PRO status judging by all the photos uploaded in the last 24 hours :)

    OK..

I've looked and been mighty impressed.

Some of the best documentary photos I've seen in a while. Such a high imo sucess rate, great photos that demonstarte you know and love the subject ( which btw does nothing for me). Most of my favorites would not be in your "I Like" section strangely.

Negative comments I'm sure there are some as always. I'l revisit slowly, but I'd focus on the positives which are numerous and transmit an essence thats not easy to a non-believer.

    Well done, tremendous stuff.

    T.

Just had a look at the Wexford set. Some stunning documentary style images. The subjects seem to have forgotten your there at all which is a tribute. Captures the essence of rallying - the skill, patience and preparation required before an engine is even switched on. The b/w work better for me. The faces seem more "lived in" and make the images more timeless. Could be a 1960's Monte Carlo car rather than the carbon fibre WRC version!

I have a slight acquaintence with Jim Crowe, the co driver. Are you connected in some way to get such personal access? What equipment were you using?

My boss is a serviceman in that team, so he said that I could be there. Wexford was already the fourth or the fifth occasion I was there. And I had brought them prints, so they already knew what I am doing there.
No relationships with drivers, but if I am going to make a book, I would like to get some their comments (and money).
My gear? Pentax MZ-6, Pentax P30, 28-70/4, 50/2, 28/2.4. Fuji (colour) and Kodak (monochromatic) films.
Just being there, not pretending anything, giving helping hand when necessary and enjoying offered tea and rashers :-)

By the way, is it possible to rent a PC? My laptop doesn't like 500 MB files in photoshop with it's 0.5GB RAM. I have already all scans now, just to work on all those files and make a selection.
