Lately our little chisler has been throwing a few punches around the playschool, any advise on how to calm him down, chill him out a little

Have a bare knuckle boxing match with him in the back garden. That way he will know how the people he hits feel. Nothing to harsh, just slap him around a little bit, and work the body so no-one sees the bruises.

Or you could try the naughty step if you wanna go all modern about it

Chisler? Okaaaaay. How about trying some parenting? It's a new trend that's starting to become popular all over again.

Start a fight with him in the morning-(just a pretend fight don't actually hit him)
Tire him out a little bit!

But don't tire him out too much, bullies might see his weakness and start bullying him:eek:

I'm not so sure about this pretend fighting business -some of the adults doing the 'pretend fighting' tend to be as childish as the kids there supposed to be protcting/teaching...an old mate of mine was teaching his chisler how not to throw a few slaps when all of a sudden the chisler whacked him across the head with a garden rake-with blood streaming everywhere he completely lost it with tyhe little 'un and threw him in the wheelie bin - said he left him there for ten minutes to 'teach' him another 'lesson'...so what did any of the so called playful fighting achieve - it thought nobody anything apart from the fact that a few anger management classes may well have helped the mate, and not his reletively normal son
