Short of getting parallels and running the paddy power client on windows therein....

There are poker companies that have dedicated mac clients though. Try Full Tilt Poker, http://www.fulltiltpoker.com

Now playing: Red Hot Chili Peppers - Don't Forget Me
    via FoxyTunes

Come on lads you know better than that !!! He's using a G4 Mac - the programs you're suggesting won't work because they need an Intel CPU.

why dont you just play it on the site - thats what i do. you don't need to download anything.

didn't know ppp had a no-download version. You could play on pokerroom. Or full-tilt. Although Full tilt has a (arguably former) reputation for tougher games.

thanks for all the replys, a few points...

I dont think you can play on the site (i am a bit thick though)

will Darwin install onto his laptop (not intel)

the reason he wants paddy power is so I can transfer money into his account. (he dosen't have a credit card)

I don't know why he bought a mac (he knows less about computers than me, & thats not much - macs seem to be the expert's choice)

    again thanks for the help.
