One Plane v Two Plane

Hey guys, i stumbled across a progam on the golf channel this evening, it was on the difference between the one plane swing v the two plane swing. The two guys talking about both were Peter Jacobson and Jim Hardy. It made for some very interesting viewing, Academy Live was the program name.
It showed the difference in setups and difference in planes.

It was something I generally didnt pay too much attention to before. Just wondering do you guys know what swing plane you use and has anyone tried one versus the other. Mate of mine got lessons lately, he has improved from a 9 h/c to a 5 h/c, and after seeing this program I've realised his instructor has him using a two plane swing.

    Any views ???

    Link is to a one-plane instruction site - http://www.rotaryswing.com/
There is a fairly busy forum on there. You might get more info there.

P.S. I'm not a member and don't have anything to do with the site.

I hit the range the other day, and tried both ways. Found the 2 plane swing more comfortable, and more consistant for iron play. Yet found the one plane, more consistant with more lenght with driver - 3 wood. Maybe its the wider stance and the more athletic setup for the one plane swing. Anyway I'll keep at it over the winter and see. I better book that lesson too in the GUI Academy. Hinting at it for an xmas present from the missus, but she aint havin it.
