    Hey all,

Not that its winter im using my lights much more than usual. I only have 1 light on left side working on DIMS, and brought it to a shop and they said that this is the way it should be.... Ie. On high beam the 2 lights light up.

Does anyone know if this is correct? I thought there would be 2 lights on dims?

    Cheers

Yep is normal for some bikes to have one light for highbeam and one for dipped.

what year is yer TDM? I've an old one (91-95 model) and I have 2 dims and 2 full-they just use 2 standard head/dip halogen bulbs, one for each side.

I believe the 95-whatever model is the same, just cosmetically different.

I don't know about the latest model at all but you'll have an answer in minutes on this forum.

I think he's BSing you mate. I am 99% certain mine has 2 dims and 2 full beams but I do remember something about the UK bikes having a different spec to continental ones so if yours is an import it may be slightly different. The guys on carpetdm will know for sure. Lots of very knowledgeable lads there.
