What is a "Spanner" with regard to BOARDS Posts ?

    Just got a warning message from a mod in the building forum for putting in a reply with 4 lines of verse in it.

    He says it is "for being a spanner" . . .

    Apparently he does not mean "spammer".
    Can anyone in Sys admin translate this?

    "Being a spanner" means "Acting the eejit".

    The mod doesn't specify the text of the warning, they choose from a set list, of which "Being a spanner" is a part :)

    In that case there's a lot worse 'spanners' than me on the Boards.
    Personally, I thought my contribution well enough in order for the thread.
