Just wondering at what stage they are at with filming and writing wrt the WGA strike? How many shows have been filmed and has the whole season being written yet?

Is there a chance that if the WGA strike holds solid that it will kill off the series?

Haven't been following the strike that closely but I spose it would give FOX an easy excuse to can it.

the filming of the show is usually three weeks ahead of the aired show.

Is that all? I would have thought it would be months ahead of the broadcast schedule.

No it's not. It's about 4/5 months ahead. I remember someone from 2fm went out to the set of season 3 for interviews months before it started on tv.

Look at Lost, 6 episodes are already made months before its start date.

There are still 4 episodes of the show still to be broadcast that were made before the strike. Production has been stopped until the strike is resolved, so after February 2008 there mightn't be any more PB until maybe the summer 2008 if the strike goes on as long as the last one.

the rte announcer last week just used the strike as a handy excuse for th delay untill the new year for new eppisodes , long before there was even talk about any strikes , it was public information that prison break would end now untill the new year

Actually it was originally meant to go to 13 episodes, ending roughly around christmas time, then going on a huge break till April. If the strike ends soon, this could be a good thing as there won't be a 4 month break only 2!

hopefully whoever was writing the scripts this season stays on strike for life. Not one episode this season where I have being dying to see the next. And the trailer for the next episode sums its up......................who cares.

agreed , i still watch it but its not a patch on the previous 2 series , they should have finished after series 2 but they instead decided to milk a cash cow dry , they may end up eventually flogging a dead horse

Yep. I really enjoyed seasons 1 and 2.

Season 3 is just terrible. They've lost all sense of suspense, pace, excitement. Instead it's like a crappy Mad Max soap opera.

I actually couldn't give a **** if it ever comes back. During season 1 and 2 I used to be excited about the next episode...

Yep, they are killing it off; episode 9 is airing on Monday week in the US, there will only be five more after that; the series finale will be on the 18th Feb.
No chance of a fourth season so obviously.

i'm not all too bothered, it was great while it lasted for series 1 & 2 but 3 was just average and dragged out

The kind of concept the show had meant it wouldn't have many seasons;they break out of prison, they go on the run, then what?
