LG 22" LCD L226WTQ-SF Ghosting

At least, I think it's ghosting. I bought the monitor from Komplett a couple o months back and pretty much from the start, if watching a DVD or playing a game, if there was motion happening in a dark area like someone running through a poorly lit room, I found I could see a dark green outline around the moving object or person.

I played around with the settings with no change. I also have a Samsung 19" which I've never had a problem with so I changed the cable from that to the LG just in case it was the cable but I found I could still see the dark green outline.

Any idea as to what might be causing this? Anyone else have this problem?

    Thanks

Was talking to a friend who has one of these & had problems with Ghosting too.

He claims it does happen if using VGA but if you install the correct drivers & use DVI it is not a problem. He also mentioned that some of the LG's have a button on the rear of the monitor that needs to be pressed when watching movies but I don't know if it applies to your monitor.

I see too that they are complaining about Ghosting in the Komplett reviews.

LG also provide a software called ForteManager which they claim makes it easier to control the settings of the monitor.

Yea.....I have a 19" Samsung CRT also with a .20 dot pitch.........Its picture quality is stunning !!. An LCD monitor image quality doesn’t even come close to a good CRT...
But alas I scarified quality for SIZE and went with the 22" wide LCD.......with ghosting !
